Willing and Able Approach

Assessment programs can be configured by leaders or system admins. They are how you can assign specific assessment templates to specific individuals to assess past performance over a period of time. After a program is launched and individuals complete their self assessment, leader/coach rating, and 1:1 tasks, then collective program results for all participants are plotted on a 4-box (2x2) matrix. The four quadrants show a person's willingness on the vertical matrix (low to high "Willingness" is plotted top to bottom) and abilities on the horizontal matrix (low to high skills/abilities are plotted left to right).

Assessment Programs provide a valuable coaching tool for leaders to baseline large and small teams against a common set of success criteria. The Willing and Able matrix provides a simple but powerful way for managers to cater their coaching to the needs of each individual and to track progress over a period of time.
