Update a task (edit task information, add attachments, update comments)

Applicable Roles:
  1. Administrators 
  2. Supervisors
  3. Contributors

After a manual task has been created, the assigned user should update the record with any new comments, status changes, new attachments, and more. This will help team members see the log of activity related to that task.

Follow the steps below to edit a manual task.
  1. Click TASKS on the menu bar. 



  2. On the Tasks table view, locate the task you want to update.



  3. Under the Actions column, click the Edit icon () next to the task.
  4. In the popup window that appears, click the Edit icon () in the top right corner.



  5. Update the required information for the task. 
  6. To attach additional files to the task, drag and drop them into the manual task window, or click the Browse link to select a file from your computer..  
  7. Click Save to confirm the changes. 

               

The changes made will be visible in the Tasks table view.
