Integrate HubSpot with Skillibrium

Skillibrium has partnered with Merge.dev to help you seamlessly integrate with CRM and HRIS systems. Merge.dev offers a unified API approach and a common data model. Skillibrium does not store a customer’s credentials to their systems of record. All transactions are done through Merge.dev.

Initially, the HubSpot integration approach is a one-way sync, meaning all of the fields we pulls in are read-only. If your organization is interested in quickly writing back to HubSpot, mapping additional remote fields or mapping something more complicated, please reach out to Skillibrium support team.

Before connecting to your production environment, we ask that you work with our Dev team to connect first to a test sandbox. We will provision your integration team with Admin access so you can follow these steps first in our test environment. There you can test out the user journeys and ensure data is flowing properly from HubSpot into Skillibrium. 

The following data fields from the customer's HubSpot entity will be displayed as read-only fields in Skillibrium. An automatic job timer will sync the data every hour, with potential variations based on the volume of data.

Follow the steps below to establish HubSpot connection with Skillibrium:

Create an API Key in HubSpot

Follow these steps to set up a private app. The generated key will be used in step 7 of connecting to Skillibrium. 

 

Connect to Skillibrium 

1. Click the user profile on the top right corner of the screen.   
   
     
   
   
2. Click Company Settings.
   
     
   
   
3. Select Integrations.
   
   
   
   
4. Under CRM, click VIEW ALL .
   
        
   
   
5. In the pop up window, select HubSpot as your preferred integration option. 
   
          
   
   
6. In the next pop up window, enter your company ID. Your company ID can be found in HubSpot in the User drop down menu.   
   
        
   
         
   
   
7. Follow the private app steps from the previous flow and paste the generated API key.
   
         
   
   
8. Click Next
   
          
   
   
9. Click Next again and then click Finish to end the setup process.
        
   
10. You will see HubSpot listed under Your Integrations.
    
         

With HubSpot and Skillibrium connection set up by a Skillibrium Admin, Skillibrium users will be able to see data from their HubSpot companies, contacts and deals. These will be displayed as read-only fields in Skillibrium.

Initial Sync	Expect the initial sync may take one hour, or it may take one day (or more). The initial sync length depends on the number of the records in your HubSpot environment.
Ongoing Sync	Please find the sync frequency variations here. We are set to the “Highest” sync frequency for the fields listed above.
