Edit an existing assessment template

Applicable Roles:
  1. Administrators
  2. Supervisors
Supervisors have the ability to edit only the assessment templates they have created, whereas administrators have the privilege to edit all templates within the organization.

Methodology templates and Featured templates cannot be edited however, they can be cloned. Published templates that are being used in one or more assessment programs cannot be edited. 

How to edit an article with a Draft status

  1. While on the assessment templates catalog, click the Edit icon () on a drafted template of choice. 

  2. You can make changes to the assessment template's metadata in the left panel.
     
      

  3. On the right panel, you can make changes to the skills/abilities or willingness category and questions as desired.   



  4. To publish the template for use, click on PUBLISHED status. 

     

  5.  Click SAVE or SAVE AND CLOSE to leave the current window.

      
       

How to edit an article with a Published status

For a published article that is being used in an assessment program, only the metadata of the assessment template can be edited.
  1. While on the assessment templates catalog, click the Edit icon () on a published template of choice. 
     

  2. Update the assessment template's metadata on the left panel. 

     

  3. Click SAVE or SAVE AND CLOSE to leave the current window. 
Published Assessments cannot be set to Draft status if they have been used in an assessment program. 


How to edit an article with an Archive status

Assessment templates in this status will no longer be available for selection in the assessment program wizard
  1. While on the assessment templates catalog, click the Edit icon () on an archived template of choice. 
     

  2. You can make changes to the assessment template's metadata in the left panel.



  3. To activate the template categories and questions, change the status of the template by clicking  DRAFT then click SAVE.
      


  4. You can now make changes to the Skills/Abilities or Willingness category and questions as desired. 
      

  5.  Click SAVE or SAVE AND CLOSE to leave the current window.

     

To use a drafted template in an assessment program, set the assessment template's status to PUBLISHED status.
