Integrate BambooHR with Skillibrium


Skillibrium users can now establish and maintain a BambooHR connection with Skillibrium. Skillibrium partners with Merge.dev which enables seamless integration of BambooHR with Skillibrium. Click the guides from Merge to connect your BambooHR account using OAuth or API key before integrating it with Skillibrium as shown below. 

We recommend that admins reach out to Skillibrium's support team before establishing a connection between BambooHR and the organization's Skillibrium production environment. Our support team will be happy to provision your integration team with admin access for testing out the user journeys and to ensure data is flowing properly from the organization's BambooHR account to Skillibrium.

The BambooHR integration approach is a one-way sync, meaning that the fields pulled from BambooHR to Skillibrium are read-only. Skillibrium does not store customers' credentials for their systems of record. The following data fields from the customer's BambooHR account will be displayed as read-only fields in Skillibrium. An automatic job timer will sync the data every hour, with potential variations based on the volume of data.

Establish a connection

Follow the steps below to integrate your BambooHR account with Skillibrium:
  1. Click the user profile on the top right corner of the screen.   

      

  2. Click Company Settings.

      

  3. Select Integrations.



  4. Under HRIS, click VIEW ALL .

          

  5. In the pop up window, select BambooHR as your preferred HRIS integration option.

           
       
  6. In the next pop up window, select Use my credentials (recommended) or Use my API key.

           

  7. In the next pop up window, click I am an admin. 
  8.  Review your data permissions and click Next. 

          

  9. Enter your BambooHR subdomain and click Next. 

          

  10. You will be prompted to log in to BambooHR on another window. Click Open window.
  11. Login to your BambooHR account.
  12. Click Continue.
  13. Click Next.

         

  14. You will see BambooHR listed under Your Integrations.

         
With an established connection to BambooHR account, you can now manage the data that is synced from BambooHR to Skillibrium. 

Manage sync data

  1. Click My Org on the menu bar.
     

  2. Click the kebab menu  (  ) on the right.
        

  3. Select Manage HRIS settings.
         

  4. Choose the employee type and the users to be synced to Skillibrium, and then click Sync.

    Members in Skillibrium who do not exist in your organization's BambooHR account will be deactivated. However, this does not apply to administrators.

  5. Review the users' business unit and permissions. 



  6. Click Sync to proceed.
