How do I relink HRIS or CRM with Skillibrium?

Your Skillibrium account uses Merge.dev to sync user data from your HRIS or CRM (eg., Workday, BambooHR, Salesforce) to Skillibrium. If this connection is interrupted, provisioning and data sync will pause until the integration is relinked.

This article covers the most common reasons a sync disconnection can occur and provides step-by-step guidance for relinking your integration directly within Skillibrium.
Info
This guide applies to customers using a Merge.dev-powered HRIS or CRM integration with Skillibrium. If you are unsure whether this applies to your setup, contact your Customer Success Manager or IT administrator.

Common Causes of Sync Disconnection

The following are the most frequently reported causes of a sync disconnection or failure. This list is not exhaustive - other factors may also trigger a disconnection.

1. Expired API or Sync User Credentials
The API key or access token used to authenticate your integration with Merge.dev may have expired.

2. Password Reset for the Linked User Account
If the service account or sync user tied to the Merge.dev integration had its password changed or reset, the stored credentials become invalid, and the connection will break. A few examples are:
  1. A routine password expiration policy enforced by your organization.
  2. A manual password reset performed by an IT administrator.
3. A Merge.dev platform outage

Before You Begin

Before relinking, confirm the following:
  1. Admin access: You must have Admin-level access to your Skillibrium account to manage integration settings.
