Enroll yourself in a training as self study (Add a training as self study)


Idea
Applicable Roles:
  1. Non-Administrators

Within the Skillibrium Learn platform, learners have the flexibility to enroll themselves in Self Study Trainings. These trainings are designed to promote self-paced learning and continuous development without the constraints of due dates or mandatory tracking.

When enrolling in a Self Study Training, learners can explore the available courses, lessons, and learning paths at their own convenience. Learners have the option to enroll in Skillibrium Featured trainings or custom created trainings available within their organization. Unlike Assigned Trainings, Self Study Trainings do not have set due dates for completion, allowing learners to progress through the material at their own pace.

Assigned Trainings take precedence over Self Study Trainings. This precedence system is designed to ensure that mandatory Assigned Trainings are given the highest priority and that learners focus on completing their assigned training requirements first.
  1. If a user has already been assigned a training, they cannot be enrolled in the same training as a Self Study Training. 
  2. If a user is already enrolled in a Self Study Training and is subsequently assigned the same training, the Assigned Training enrollment will take precedence.
Users can enroll in a self study training by following instructions below: 
  1. Navigate to the training catalog.



  2. Click the All tab.



  3. Use the search or filter feature to navigate to the desired training type (lesson, course, or learning path).



  4. Alternatively, you can use the search function to find a specific training by title.



  5. Click the START button on the training card. 



  6. Your progress will start to record when you click the Play icon on the video player or scroll through the PDF document. 



  7. You can track your enrolled Self Study Trainings from the My Training page.
      

The My Training page provides an overview of all the trainings you have self-enrolled in, allowing you to monitor your progress and advance in your learning journey.
