Clone an existing assessment template

Applicable Roles:
- Administrators
- Supervisors
Cloning or copying a template creates a new version of the template for you to edit.
While methodology templates and role/job title based assessment templates cannot be directly edited, you have the flexibility to create your own version by copying these templates. Cloned templates are listed under My Template Area.

All copied templates are set to default status by default.
Follow the steps below to copy/clone a template:
- While in the assessment templates catalog, click the Copy icon (
) on the template you want to clone.

- In the popup window, select COPY.

- A new copy of the template will open, and you will notice that the template's original name now begins with 'Copy Of' appended to it.

- Make changes to the assessment template's metadata in the left panel.

- On the right panel, make changes to the skills/abilities or willingness category and questions as desired.
- To publish the template for use, click the PUBLISHED status.
