Add stages to an opportunity playbook
Applicable Roles:
- Administrators
Many organizations have a recommended set of tasks and guidelines for working on sales opportunities, from prospecting to closing sales with customers. Sales stages can vary from company to company. After providing details to your opportunity playbook, the next step is adding the sales stages. Only Skillibrium admins can set up an opportunity playbook to include sales stages. An opportunity playbook can be published with a minimum of 1 stage and a maximum of 20 stages. If your organization does not have a pre-defined opportunity playbook, we recommend you use the Skillibrium 5-stage opportunity playbook, with the following stage names:
Stage 1: Discovery
Stage 2: Build Champions
Stage 3: Develop Solution
Stage 4: Prove Capabilities
Stage 5: Final Proposal
Follow the steps below to add stages to an opportunity playbook:
- Click step 3 - Add Stages of the opportunity playbook creation wizard.

- Enter the name of the stage under Stage 1.

- Click the Plus icon (
) to add a new stage.

- Click the kebab menu (
) to edit stage names, re-order the stages, or delete the stage name.

- When you have the required number of stages created, click CONTINUE.
